Natural & Organic / Wine, Beer, Cheese - and more

Last Thursday we hosted a SOLD OUT Spanish wine dinner at Brie & Bleu -
It was FABULOUS.
Not because the food was perfect - because it was. Each and every course.
Credit goes to Anne Haviland and Ryan Connolly at Brie & Bleu - BRAVO.
And not because the wine was perfect - because it was. Each and every drop.
From the nine dollar sparkling Cava served with the appetizers to the $175 per bottle "Aro Muga" served with the main dishes.
Credit goes to Jim Morrison and our distributors at TRW&S -- BRAVO.

No , it was FABULOUS because of the people.
A wonderful mix of interesting souls that are like minded about food and wine and LIFE.
BRAVO.

Our next dinner will spotlight French food & wine.
Check the calendar of events for details or call the store - 860-443-9463 - seating is limited.

Now, can you guess what question we get over and over again??
It's on the short list - right after - "Can I put this on my tab"?

The question is: "Do you have any organic wine"?
Trust me - it happens a lot.
And it's not just from folks wearing Birkenstock sandals over those big squishy wool socks either......not that there's anything wrong with that.
No, the question comes from all kinds of people - even the ones just like you and me.

In many stores the response would go something like this:

"Sure, come right this way....we keep them in a special place".
Then the customer is led down a long hallway to a door marked "Egress".
"Go right through here - someone will be right with you".
Before the customer realizes what's happening they are standing alone in a dark, wet alley - and it's just too late.
Their socks are damp and their "mellow" has been ruined.

We - OF COURSE - are taking a different approach.
On Friday May 20th - from 6-9 p.m. - No Charge
